Deck and Hull

  • KEEL: Molded FRP keels (sacrificial) are bolted to integral keel stubs – designed for  in-the-water replacement. No defects are spotted on the keel to hull joint.
  • RUDDER: Skeg supported, balsa core FRP rudders with stainless steel rudder stock.
  • BOW: A tensioned aluminum crossbeam is bolted between the hulls. There is a  trampoline.
  • STERN: Reverse transoms with molded FRP steps. There is a folding stainless steel swim  ladder on the port side. A molded FRP hard-top comes over the cockpit area,  supported by 3 metal poles on aft, and goes on over the front deck, where a settee  area is found, accessible from the saloon via a front door, and supported by 2 SS  poles. There are 2 flexible solar panels fitted on the aft end of the hard-top,  estimated at 80W each. A hinged SS U-shaped tubing assembly at aft is used as  dinghy davits, activated via an electrical motor fully operational. An opening on  starboard side of hard top is seen, where a mini fly bridge has been designed for  helm station, covered with a secondary FRP hard top.
  • FLOORBOARDS: Formica covered marine plywood.
  • DECK HATCHES: 8 "Lewmar” rectangular aluminum framed deck hatches (plus an extra one  through the cockpit hardtop). Engine room accesss is also via deck hatches with opaque lenses.
  • OPENING PORTLIGHTS: 12 "Lewmar” aluminum framed portlights (4 outboard in each hull (8 total) &  2 facing aft in aft cabins & 2 facing front in the saloon).
